Allego Sales Enablement Platform

Allego is an enterprise sales enablement platform used by global organizations to manage sales content, training, conversation intelligence, and digital buyer experiences across distributed sales teams.

As the leader of Allego’s product design team, I spearheaded the creation of the Lumin design system and led the modernization of core platform workflows. These initiatives supported Allego’s evolution from an early-stage sales learning product into a comprehensive enterprise sales enablement platform recognized by industry analysts.

Key Problem

Many users with Allego licenses were not engaging deeply with the platform beyond their initial onboarding experience.

As Principal Designer and Product Design leader, I led the development of the component-based Lumin Design System from concept to implementation, enabling consistent user experiences across Allego’s product suite.


At a strategic level, I led user research, competitive analysis, and internal UX audits to identify structural usability issues across the platform. These insights informed a redesigned information architecture and the foundation of the Lumin design system.

In addition to these platform modernization efforts, I led the design of several AI-powered capabilities, including generative lesson authoring, AI-driven search, and conversation intelligence features that help sales teams analyze customer interactions and improve performance. These capabilities are now used by approximately 75% of Allego users.
 

The result was a modernized product interface that transformed a significant competitive weakness into a product strength. The new UX and design system were widely praised by clients, analysts, and internal stakeholders, helping reposition Allego as a leading platform in the sales enablement market.
